Spring 2006

Our instruments are part of a research and concert programme where some of them are allowed to sound both alone and in chamber music. Future events are announced below.

April 7th- 8th 10.00 a.m. - 16.00 p.m.:
Open house with guided tours

April 29^th 16.00
Concert with teachers and students at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, the College of Music in Falun and the Music School in Söderhamn. Music by W.A. Mozart, A. Skulte, D. Scarlatti, L.v. Beethoven, F. Schubert, R. Schumann, F. Liszt (piano), J. Brahms (piano four hands) and W. Stenhammar (violin and piano). Different instruments will sound – a late 18^th c. grand piano (copy), a grand piano by Malmsjö 1872, a square piano by Malmsjö 1885, and a modern grand piano by Steinway & Sons.
